Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser when you visit a website. They help the website work and remember your choices.

Essential cookies (always on)

• session_id: keeps the website working securely during your visit.
• frontend_lang: remembers your language (English, Bahasa Melayu or Chinese).
• website_cookies_bar: remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again.

Optional cookies (only with your consent)

• Analytics: help us understand which guides are read most, using services such as Google Analytics.
• Advertising: allow advertising partners such as Google AdSense to show and measure ads, which keeps Go Makan free to read.

These are only set after you click "I agree" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Only essential", they are not set.

How to change your choice

You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The next time you visit, the cookie banner will appear again so you can choose again. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website from working.
